Imma go to college now. University of Louisville is calling, lets see how life goes from there...

School might mean more works, but I really cant promise anything anymore with how busy I always seem to be. After all this is the first journal I have posted since April (good lord....) so I obviously fell off the ball at some point.

It went by too fast! Just like all those seniors said back in freshman year! WHO WILL RUN THE SCHOOL WHEN WE ARE GONE!? THOSE JUNIORS CANT HANDLE THE PRESSURE!

Well in a semi-related story, I HAVE A 15 inch MACBOOk PRO! The art college I am going to recommended such a laptop and I got some sort of discount by being a student or something crazy and unheard of like that...

Anyway, I received numerous programs with it including Adobe Creative Suite 4 and all the numerous adobe design software it came with. Illustrator CS4, Flash CS4, Photoshop CS4, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Fireworks.... GAH! (Just to name a few) I don't even know what to do with half of them but THEY ROCK! I have enough fun just playing around with them.

But you know what really grinds my gears? April Fools day.... April Fools.... cause I loves this holiday.

Today was one of the best April 1st i have had in years. A buddy of mine rocked out in the bathroom today after lunch (amp and everything) while we got jokes over the announcements and in the halls and everywhere else you can think of. Jokes on students, jokes on teachers, jokes on freshmen, jokes on seniors.... what a great day. Lets get on with prom, pull a senior prank, have our graduation parties and double check to make sure we have everyones facebook pages and call it a year.

Hows it going folks...

Its been a while since my last journal so heres a few updates.

I'm currently applied, accepted and getting ready to go to the University of Louisville and see about getting into a design career or something of the sort. I just recently applied for a few art scholarships so I hope that goes through (U of L gives out scholarships like chicklets)

School has been busy with work and art along with after school events and doing stuff with friends (Senior year rocks)and it feels like the remainder of the year is flying by... (Oh noes! D

One big bummer is that I wont be going to Germany afterall, the trip got cancelled due to lack of interest which was a direct result of the economy situation. But on a brighter note my family and I may be going to Hawaii instead! I tackled Alaska last summer so why not Hawaii right? sure...

ANYWAY! I apologize for not being particularly active at anything short of posting art and commenting about it but thats just life. Thank you to all those who still watch this old coot and take interest in my meager images. Random change of subject, Fallout 3 is an amazing game that I did not know until about a week ago. If you love rpg's and don't mind it being in a FPS style then Fallout 3 will be your favorite game I promise! :3
